What's up. My name's Josh and I'm new to this whole blogger thing but I'll give it my best. So I have been putting a lot of thought about how I would go about explaining the stuff I have seen or the places I have been and decided the best way to do it is just to describe my experiences and let things roll from there. I apologize if I ramble but I'm from the south and nothing ever gets done in a hurry there. If you all have any questions feel free to comment or ask Jes because I'm almost positive she can either answer it for me because she has heard my adventures too or just forward it and I will get to you as soon as I can.
When we first got there we checked into a hotel called Wyndham Gardens. It's a great hotel right outside the fashion district with some killer cheesecake. Trust me on this one...try the cheesecake. So to start off our day we decided to do typical tourist things and go check out the fashion district which was cool in itself but I for one am not really interested in clothes. But according to my sis everyone should go to the Juicy Couture and Prada stores at least once. For all the guys out there the stores have some pretty great couches on every level normally situated in a corner somewhere.
Rockefeller After we hit up all of the clothing district we decided to head up to the top of the rock. If you don't know what that is then just picture it as the competitor building to the Empire State tower and you can have your picture taken from the top with the empire tower in the background. FYI too it has much shorter lines than the empire and it has a cool history lesson film on your way up. |
Carnegie Deli
We were starting to get tired and pretty hungry so my family and I decided to head to Carnegie deli. If you have never been there it's a small restaurant with huge portions. Along all the walls on the inside are rows and rows of pictures on every open space showing all the actors or famous people that have come to eat there. Trust me...one sandwich can feed three people. They come out bigger than your head there.
